Software License Activation Introduction: -
This Software Activation System is meant for controlling the unauthorized distribution of Software Products build in VB.Net. This activation process is based on Processor ID which is a unique per system so no other system will be getting the same activation key.

This system is created for easily integrating into your already build project or to integrate with a new project. There is also a web-based version of this Software License Activation System is available with a Web panel for managing licenses build using CI.

This System usage two different packages for securing the software project.
1. Activation Software.
2. Client Software.

  1. The current source code uses the LicenseKey.dat file for storing the activation key on the client system.Requirements: -
    This Software Activation System required the following system configuration to use it.
    1. Visual Studio 2012+
    2. .NET Framework 4.5
    3. Language: VB.NET

Workflow of Software License Activation :
  1. On client software startup the system checks for the license key.dat file in the installation directory. The license file location can be changed from the code. Instruction for changing it is provided within the code.

  2. If the file is present then the system compares the license key present in the file with what it meant to be.

  3. If both conditions are satisfied then the software goes to the login screen otherwise directs the user to the software activation screen. So, there is no way by which the end-user can use software without an activation key.
